Problem
You create various calendar entries such as Meeting Invitations, Appointments, All Day Events, and Reminders, but they do not appear in the Calendar view. However, if you switch to the Meetings view, all the calendar entries appear there. Why aren't the calendar entries showing up on the Calendar view?
Content
The document properties of the calendar entries showed that the field necessary to display meetings and appointments, CalendarDateTime, was missing. Other important fields such as $BusyName and $NoPurge were missing also.
In one case, a customer addressed the issue by compacting the Notes Workspace. To compact the Workspace, right-click it and select the Compact button on the second tab (the "beanie" tab). When the Compact process completes, the calendar entries should display in the Calendar view.
In another case, compacting the Workspace did not resolve the problem. However, after renaming the Desktop.DSK file, then restarting the Notes client, the entries displayed properly in the Calendar view.
