Verschieben Reservierungsdatenbank

Hab ich die Tage für einen Kunden erst gemacht: alte Ressourcen-DB auf neuen Server kopiert, anschließend im DD die Mail-In-Dokumente angepasst (Mailserver, Pfad zur Ressourcen-DB, Domain blieb gleich).

Den unten angehangenen Hinweis gibt es bei IBM.
Damit haben wir auch schon eine Ressourcen DB verschoben.

A customer's company has merged with another company, and they have merged all their Lotus® Domino® domains as well as their Domino Directories. The customer has replicated the Resource Reservations database over to a new server, and has copied and pasted the resources from the 'Servers\Mail-in Databases and Resources' view in the original Domino Directory to the new one. However, the customer notices that the Site Profile is still reflecting the old Domain Name.
The customer can re-create the resource documents, but he does not want his users to lose their reservations. The old Site Profile name could cause mail routing problems.

Is there a way to move the reservations to a new server?

Answer
Pull a new replica of the Reservations database from the old server to the new server. Open the Access Control List (ACL) of the new Resource.nsf, and:
- change the Server ACL to the new server
- set the Manager and [Create Resource] (if needed) ACL to the new Manager and Resource Creator
- select the Advanced icon and set the Administration server to the new server name.

To open the ACL in Lotus Notes® releases prior to 8.x select File > Database > Access Control.
To open the ACL in Notes 8.x select File > Application > Access Control.

The following agent can be run on the Domino Directory to change the room/resource documents from the old server name and mail domain to the new server name and mail domain:

FIELD MailServer:= "CN=newserver/OU=neworgunit/O=neworg";
FIELD MailDomain:="newdomain";

Where:
"newserver" is the new Domino Server that the database was moved to
"neworgunit" is the new organizational unit of the new domino server (if this applies)
"neworg" is the new organizational certifier of the new domino server
"newdomain" is the new mail domain that the Resource Reservations database was moved to

The following agent can be run on the Site Profile documents to change the Domain name of the Sites in the Resource Reservations database:

FIELD ResDomain:="newdomain";

Where:
"newdomain" is the new mail domain that the Resource Reservations database was moved to.
