Mail-Regeln (Server)

    Hallo,


    die 6.5.1 Serverkonfiguration "Router/SMTP - Beschränkungen und Steuerungen - Regeln" funktioniert bei mir nicht. Bei dem Versuch eine neue Regel anzulegen kommt folgender Fehler per Dialogbox:

    Code
    Error on Server Rules - Function ActionNewRule --> 4412: Notes Fehler - Feld nicht gefunden.


    Ich verwende diese Option zum ersten mal. Es kann also sein, dass noch irgendeine Voraussetzung fehlt. Hat da jemand eine Idee, wo ich suchen könnte?

    Problem
    When a Notes/Domino 6 customer is attempting to edit or create a new rule on a Domino server, the following error displays:


    "Error on Server Rules - Function ActionEditRule --> 4412: NotesError - Cannot locate field"


    The customer has created rules in the past with no problems.


    In this scenario, the customer is in the Administration client (Domino Administrator), on the Configuration tab, under the Messaging twistie, using the Messaging Settings view. In this view when Rules are added or edited by going to the Messaging Settings\Restrictions and Controls\Rules tab, the error occurs. When the customer uses the Configurations view under the Messaging twistie, it works fine (specifically, by opening the Configuration document and going to the Router/SMTP \Restrictions and Controls\Rules tab).


    When you first open the Message Settings in edit mode, you first get the error "Entry not found in index," then you get the specific error for the action you are attempting to perform (for example, "Error on Server Rules - Function ActionEditRule --> 4412: NotesError - Cannot locate field").


    Other possible errors when attempting to modify or create a new rule (depending on which action button is hit) include:


    "New Rule: Error on Server Rules - Function ActionNewRule --> 4412: Notes Error - Cannot locate field"


    "Delete Rule: after warning - Error on Server Rules - Function ActionDeleterule -->4412: Notes Error - Cannot locate field"


    "Edit Rule: allows edits in dialogue box, on save, Error on Server Rules - Function ActionEditRule --> 4412: Notes Error - Cannot locate field"


    "Move Up: Error on Server rules - Function ActionMoveUp --> 4005: Notes error: entry not found in index (( Server Mail Rules))"


    "Move Down: Error on Server Rules - Function ActionMoveDown --> Notes Error - Cannot locate field"


    "Enable Rule: Error on Server Rules - Function ActionEnableRule --> 4412: Notes Error - Cannot locate field."


    "Disable Rule: Error on Server Rules - Function ActionDisableRule --> 4412: Notes Error - Cannot locate field"


    "Document has not yet been saved"




    Solution
    This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# RHOR5E27TG.


    As a workaround, you can also still use the Domino Administrator to make changes on the rules (use the view Server > Configurations or the view Messaging > Configurations).
