    Question
    You have a Lotus Notes/Domino® database acting as a Document Library. The users create links to documents in it and send the links to other users as a means of sharing information.
    When the Document Library database becomes very large, you wish to use archiving. However, when the documents in the Library are archived, the document links no longer work. The following error message occurs:


    "Document has been deleted"

    Answer
    Notes / Domino is working as designed.


    When a document link is created, it points to a specific location in a database and view within the database. If the document the link is pointing to is moved or deleted or archived, then the link is no longer valid, and hence returns the error message.


    An enhancement request, for the link functionality be maintained if the document is archived, has been submitted to Quality Engineering as SPR# DKIY6UJDGS. There are no plans to address this request.

    Hi Forum,


    sorry wenn ich mich nicht mit dem richtigen Termini ausdrücke, da ich nicht sonderlich mit Notes vertraut bin :(


    Habe am Client jetzt auf Linux migriert und nach einer Wine Phase auch den NotesClient auf 8.5 Linux migriert:


    IBM Lotus Notes 8.5


    Release 8.5
    Revision 20081211.1925 (Release 8.5)
    Standardkonfiguration


    Ich verwende die Vorschau bei den Mails. Wenn ich jedoch Mails lösche und genau das Mail (welches bei der Vorschau steht) auch dabei ist und ich mit F9 aktualisiere, dann werden die Mails gelöscht :) aber nach einer langen Wartezeit (ca 4 Min) bekomme ich die Meldung "Dokument wurde gelöscht". NoNa :(
    Und was ncoh dazukommt ist, daß die Ansicht beim Zeilenabstand und Textzeilen pro Zeile auf default zurückstellt.


    Dies pasiert mit mehrmals am Tag und ist sehr unangenehm.


    Ich hänge noch einen Screenshot dazu!


    Hat jemand einen Tip?
