Ich würde ihn noch mal manuell starten und schauen was er da für Probleme bringt.
Sind evtl alle Ports deaktiviert ?

du das kann ich dir gar nicht sagen hab halt ganz normal debian installiert und dann darauf den domino server ich wüsste jetzt auch nicht wie ich das überprüfen sollte

Welche Voraussetzungen Domino7 auf Linux erfüllt haben will, steht in den Release Notes. Ich hab jetzt keine große Lust, das alles auseinander zu klamüsern. Fakt ist aber dass IBM offiziell SLES8/9 und RHEL4 vorschreibt. Die Meldung der fehlenden "epoll I/O readiness" kommt ganz einfach daher, dass Debian per default einen 2.4er Kernel installiert. AFAIK gibt es auch einen 2.6er. Und eben nur die 2.6er Serie bietet die "epoll I/O readiness". Was das ist, wofür das gut ist und warum Domino7 darauf aufsetzt, da hab ich auch keine Lust das zu erklären. Die Suchmaschine des Vertrauens wird dir weiterhelfen.

BITTE schau in die SW-Anforderungen des Domino-Servers. Da stehts GENAU drinnen.
Aber es klappt auch unter Debian wunderbar, wenn man weiß, was man tut.P.S.: Red Hat 8 stammt aus dem Jahre 2002. Meinst Du die wird gut mit einer professionellen Anwendung aus dem Jahre 2005/2006 zusammenspielen?
